Our Story

1967- Our story began in 1967 as the pioneers in producing and custom formulating the efficacious composition of Zinc Chloride in a small manufacturing unit in Kolkata, erstwhile Calcutta, West Bengal.
1970- Set up another manufacturing facility in Ganjam, Orissa (now, Odisha).
1986- Started manufacturing highly sophisticated product - Mercuric Chloride in Ganjam, Odisha.
2007- With the aim to diversify and grow, started manufacturing Dross Reducing Flux for Galvanizing Industry to help reduce Zinc wastage and higher efficiency.
2012- Introduced Secondary Zinc Dust - a specialized product to replace the Primary - in collaboration with Dr. Swapan Ghosh, a polymer scientist with over 25 years of research experience and Industrial R&D.
2017- Celebrated 50 glorious years in the Industry with sustainable business plans and relationship with Dena Bank (now Bank of Baroda) and Eveready.
2020- Started Ammonium Chloride trade and associated with NANOVA CARE COAT for Nanova Hygiene+ Range of Disinfectant Products.

Our Growth

Environment- Technology developed to achieve Zero-Waste Water Discharge, being the first company in West Bengal to get Pollution License in 1998 under Basel Convention.
R&D Department- In-house Laboratory with continuous work and development on product range horizontally.
Mechanization- From a manual plant to a semi-mechanized plant for important processes.
Zinc Chloride- From producing single grade solid lump, achieved 11+ grades in Liquid and Powder form.
Mercuric Chloride- Achieved all three standardized grades as laboratory reagents for Multi-national companies.
Implementation of Integrated Management Systems- ISO Certification 9001, 14001, 45001.

Research & Development

Zinc Chloride

Circa 1977: Developed ready-to-use Liquid & Powder Grades, over the surmounting the standard Solid Lump/blocks manufactured across industries in domestic as well as international markets.

Zero Waste Water Discharge

Circa 1998: In a pursuit to establish as an environmentally conscious company, devised and mechanized a way to filter, recycle and reuse water.

Zinc Dust

Circa 2005: Discovered and developed Secondary Zinc Dust, an import substitute - in association with Dr. Swapan Ghosh, a nano technology scientist - to be used for anti-rust and anti-corrosion coatings.

Dross Reducing Flux

Circa 2010: Collaborated with scientists to conceived, formulated and develop solution based flux, reducing usage as well as wasting of Zinc in Galvanizing process.

Direction

Expansion in Odisha- Develop & manufacture Zinc Allied Products based on Hydrochloric Acid & Chlorine.
Global Approach- Focus on Exports & Imports, market tie-ups, collaborations and integrated value chains.
Training Programmes- Grow the company through its human resources development.
